Energex, Bells Creek Powerlines
QLD Drilling has proudly supported major infrastructure works for Energex across Queensland, delivering specialised drilling services for power infrastructure upgrades and installations.
As part of these works, our team drilled numerous dewatering bores to assist with groundwater management and enable the safe installation and stabilisation of power poles in challenging ground conditions. We also completed a range of groundwater monitoring wells to support environmental compliance and ongoing site monitoring requirements.
These projects required efficient mobilisation, precise drilling methods, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards while working within active construction and infrastructure corridors. Aire Apartments, 5 Point Projects
QLD Drilling delivered dewatering works for the Aire Apartments project in Newstead, working alongside Ground Support Systems during the basement construction phase.
The scope of works included the installation of five large diameter dewatering bores to assist with groundwater management and support excavation activities. The project presented challenging ground conditions consisting of heavy clays and sandy gravels, requiring precise drilling methods and experienced site management to achieve successful bore installation.
